For the Chairs i used the technique lathe in order to create what holds the seat up, as for the seat itself i used two spheres and the boolen tool.
The table was extremely simple i created a box, inseted the legs by a extremely small amount because i had in mind how i wanted it to look as i had previously seen the way i wanted it in ikea and unfortunatly did not get a picture, once the legs were done i cut out a square in the top and made this see through to give the illusion of glass.
For the computer screen i used a lot of bevel, i created a box and then went in to line mode, and selected certain lines and positioned them as i seen fit, once this was done i then went into poly mode and selected the part i needed to edit, i used Bevels, Extrudes, Insets etc.
The spindles on the stairs were pretty tricky to make in order to make these i used the 'get shape' method, and created numerous shapes that would give the spindle the shape i wanted , so the shape went from 2d to 3d.
For the banister on teh stairs i created a long rectangle with around about 8 or 10 segments i then selected the top polygins and used soft selection to give it some sort of roundness.
